Props to you for writing about this, payed for reviews are pitiful, developers should use take that "bribery" money and invest it into their game to make it good, that way it will EARN the score and the potential sales that go with it.
Buying reviews only makes customers like myself distrust gaming sites and reviews in general, i bet if we could see just how common this is most people wouldn't even read reviews anymore...
And it's not just the console, FF13 in general seems very feminine sadly.
It makes alot more sense that it is only for imports, they probably figured out they were the only ones selling the console and decided to increase the price.
Check the date and then think about that again, yes some will still be working on the 360 version, but i'm sure they are slowly making the transition to Versus as 13 is pretty much complete.
Why do they need to increase the price? they don't, they should just make more but instead of making enough so most people who want it can get it they instead limit the numbers to well under demand and then jack up the price.
Sony need to smack Square Enix upside the head, they could move a few hundred thousand consoles if they do this right, but instead they look like they are gonna fuk this up.

They can't be serious, it was already bordering being overpriced, but now it is just appauling, and they limit the amount of consoles to well under the demand for it.
Square Enix have been down a bad path for a while, you'd think they would do things FOR the fans and not stupid sh1t like this just to p1ss them off.

You would think there would be more extras, but i guess the japanese VO and eng subs is enough for me.

Also the reason why multiplatform titles generally look better on the 360 is not the fault of the ps3 but rather the fault of the developers who don't take the time to use the cell processors SPUs.

The release date will determine if it's going to be a short one or a normal length FF.
2010 release date = short FF
2011 or later = long FF

More then likely it's due to the fact that it's being overhyped, how does this game get perfect scores? famitsu you can understand because they are known to be biased when scoring famous japanese game developers, but the other places that are giving it perfect scores imo are unjust, what does this game do that pushes boundaries? nothing, it does almost nothing new and yet all these places are hailing it like as if it's redefined the Action and H&S genres which it hasn't.
